Designed to Shorten Turnarounds – The MegaLift

Thermal performance is critical. But installation strategy often determines project success.

EvapTech’s patented MegaLift is a lifting construction technology developed by our in-house Engineering team. This technique allows for the pre-construction of the cooling tower modules, mechanical fan assemblies and stair towers to be built adjacent to the basin pre-turnaround.

Once the turnaround begins and the basin is drained, the existing tower is demolished and basin cleaned. The pre-assembled modules are lifted into place and anchored. The mechanical assemblies and stair towers are installed. In Industrial applications, this approach has reduced full tower replacements to as short as nine (9) days — avoiding the costly expense of extended turnarounds, loss production and rental cooling towers!
